Cubby Plant Hire appointed as official Polaris dealer

Cubby Plant Hire has been appointed as the new official dealer for global All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) manufacturer Polaris in Carlisle, central Cumbria and Penrith, strengthening its position as one of Cumbria’s leading suppliers of plant, machinery and utility equipment.

The new partnership will see Cubby Plant Hire manage sales of the full range of Polaris off-road vehicles, alongside offering expert advice, servicing, parts and aftersales support. It’s Carlisle HQ will cover Carlisle to Hawick, the Lake District and central Cumbria while customers in Penrith and the Eden Valley will be serviced from the new Penrith depot.

Cubby Plant Hire acquired the Penrith dealership from Burrow & Rutter-Armstrong, which will continue to operate its tuning and remapping business as normal.

Polaris offers a range of utility, recreational and sport 4x4 and ATVs designed for rugged outdoor use including across the farming, forestry, land management, construction and recreational sectors.

Sales of its popular Ranger and Sportsman ATVs have seen Polaris become the world and European market leader.

It’s an exciting move for Cubby Plant as it expands into vehicle sales alongside its successful hire business and it has appointed Dan Burrow as Head of Polaris to lead customer activity.

The new dealership will provide customers with access to new and used Polaris off-road vehicles, genuine Polaris parts and accessories, manufacturer-approved servicing and maintenance, expert product advice and demonstrations and local customer support from an experienced team.
